about the artist
Anna Schoenmann is a 23-year-old photographer, journalist, and artist. She is based in Boston, where she graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. During her senior year, she was awarded the Journalism Excellence Awards in Sports Journalism and Data Visualization. She is also a member of the Boston Press Photographers Association (BPPA).
Anna currently freelances for the Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), International Tennis Hall of Fame (Newport, RI), and around the Boston area. Most recently, she was the chief in-house photographer for the Emerson Athletics Department and interned at the North Shore Navigators (NECBL) from 2024-2025.
