about the artist
Anna Schoenmann is a 22-year-old photographer, journalist, and artist. She is based in Boston, where she graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. During her senior year, she was awarded the Journalism Excellence Awards in Sports Journalism and Data Visualization. She is also a member of the Boston Press Photographers Association (BPPA).
Anna currently freelances for the Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA) and around the Boston area. Most recently, she was the chief in-house photographer for the Emerson Athletics Department, and interned for the North Shore Navigators (NECBL) from 2024-2025.
